Why We Built RupeeCraft
Most Indian finance portals hide simple math behind intrusive lead-generation forms, phone OTP walls, or inaccurate compounding formulas (like using simple monthly compounding for Indian bank FDs instead of the RBI-standard quarterly compounding).
Worked Example: The ₹10,000 Monthly Habit
Suppose you invest ₹10,000 per month at the beginning of each month in an index fund delivering 12% p.a. for 20 years (240 months):
FV = 10,000 × [((1.01)240 − 1) / 0.01] × 1.01 = ₹99,91,479
Your total pocket outflow is just ₹24,00,000, while compounding generates ₹75,91,479 in wealth gains.
