Note: Exporting as JPEG flattens transparent areas onto a solid white background. Re-encoding strips camera EXIF and metadata from the output file.

What the position sliders do

Horizontal and vertical controls move the crop within the rotated image. A slider has no effect when that dimension is not cropped. Try a square or portrait ratio to see the difference.

Choose the right output

PNG keeps transparency and sharp graphics but can be large. JPEG often suits photos, placing transparent areas on white. The source is never enlarged; the long output edge is capped at 4,096 pixels.
